Returns and Exchanges

 

 

If you’re not happy with your purchase – then we're not happy! However, that being said – we’re a small growing business, supporting local production - so please respect our need to have a restricted return policy, specially for in store purchases. Please scroll down to your section: online orders or in-store purchases for return details. 

We appreciate your understanding on this, as we are doing our best efforts to continue to offer a bricks and mortar store, while also growing our online business.

 

 

ONLINE ORDERS

 

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

 

 

Currently, items purchased online may be only eligible for an exchange or store credit. Each order will be handled on a case -by-case basis. We are using funds from your orders to stay afloat. And since every order takes a lot of effort to get out the door, full refunds are a hit in the gut to us -- and are just not possible at this time. 

 

 

If your product does not entirely meet your satisfaction and the return is accepted, we will gladly exchange or give you store credit for your purchase, exclusive of delivery charges and any discounts applied.

 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. If accepted,

DAMAGES AND ISSUES

 

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

 

If you suspect the damage is from shipment, please hold onto the box and shipping materials, as for insurance claims with our carrier, we may have to provide specific detailed photographs of the damage. we need to know within 3 days of the delivery as after that the shipper takes no responsibility .

 

Exchanges 

We will notify you once we've received and inspected your return, and let you know if the return was approved or not. If approved, we will send you a new item immediately.

 

Refunds 

If your return was approved and the item is out of stock, and we can't replace it with a new one, you'll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

 

 

Non-Returnable Items - Perishable Goods, Discounted/Sale Items, Gift Cards

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for discounted, sale, or marked damaged items, all sales are final on these items. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

 

GARDEN PRODUCTS

  • Any & all damage/defect claims must be noted at the time of delivery on the Delivery Receipt and the  Customer must notify Rfdny within 48 hours of delivery for any claim to be honored. Rfdny reserves the right to request photos on any damage/defect claim.
  • Returns due to customer error or buyer’s remorse are not accepted by Rfdny on this kind of products. In the event that an exception is made, returns will be accepted only with written authorization from Rfdny. If authorized, the  Customer is responsible to ship items back at their expense, plus a re-stocking charge equivalent to 20% of the cost of the merchandise. A copy of the return authorization must be attached to the package. Returns received damaged or in unsellable condition will not be honored.

 

 

IN-STORE PURCHASES AND ONLINE IN-STORE PICKUP RETURNS

 

Select merchandise purchased in store may be returned for STORE CREDIT ONLY within 14 days of the original purchase with the original receipt. Items must be in original packaging with tags and be unused in the same condition as sold.  NO RECEIPT, NO RETURN. We cannot offer refunds for in-store purchases in any circumstance. 

 

To be eligible for an in-store return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, including original packaging and tags. Please note that Rfdny may refuse a return due to damages, pulls, nicks, marks, cracks, chips, missing tags, wrinkles/smells, stains, and more. Once a product has left our retail store, damages that occur on the product are the customer's responsibility. Return fraud is a growing crime in retail stores, including cross-retailer return fraud. Several types of goods are exempt from being returned or exchanged, including vintage items, sale items, gift cards, holiday-related items, health and personal care items, items purchased "as is", and custom orders. Items purchased using certain coupons are not eligible for return or exchange. Items purchased at 20% or higher are not eligible for return or exchange. Items not accompanied by a receipt are never eligible for a return.

 

Special return extensions are granted during holiday shopping times, which is communicated at time of purchase - please note at the time of purchase if you will need an extended return policy. Holiday gifts purchased in-store November 1st - December 24th of that calendar year, can be exchanged for store credit before January 12th with a printed receipt. We cannot accept exchanges for holiday purchases after January 12th, no exceptions. We also cannot exchange without a receipt - at any point.  

 

Online purchases selected for in-store pick up are only eligible for store credit, and must be returned within the allotted return window.
